As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, several existing biometric access control systems have been developed and implemented by various companies and organizations. It’s important to note that the landscape may have evolved since then, and new systems may have been introduced HID Global offers a range of biometric access control solutions, including fingerprint and facial recognition technologies.1
