No one can predict the future with certainty, bue one can say that as of our knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing and evolving, while vaccines have been developed and authorized for emergency use in many countries, new variants of the virus have emerged, and there have been ongoing efforts to distribute and administer vaccines globally.1
